Currently based in the Bay Area of California, I was born in Kansas City, Mo. I’ve worked in journalism and the beverage alcohol industry for most of my professional life. In addition to making — and writing about — beer, wine and cider; I’ve written about cannabis and the burgeoning field of psychedelics.
